Today is my birthday and I know that the years ahead will be forever changed by the year behind. I don't know what my future holds, but I do know what I hold: I have my family, my friends, my wit, my charm, my intelligence, my humor, my dreams, my truth. I am a survivor. No matter what waits for me, I know that I have faced the darkest days and have come through them, into the light. All is well.
